On down day in markets, see how Huntsville

Only eight companies on our Huntsville and Alabama Stock Report saw increases on Monday, which proved to be a down day on Wall Street.

Another area notable, Science Applications International Corporation, was up 1.2% to close at $102.65 a share. According to its website, "SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 technology integrator driving our nation's digital transformation."

Its "robust portfolio of offerings across the defense, space, civilian and intelligence markets includes secure high-end solutions in engineering, IT modernization and mission solutions." It has five locations in Huntsville.

The biggest decliners on Monday were Synovus, Sanmina, Boeing and Target, which all dropped at least 2%.
